Jeremy is passionate about two things. Marcela, and the armed forces. (Well, serving his country in any form.) I LOVE that about him. He is currently in DC with the state department, and has a long lasting background with the coast guard as well as relationships in the Navy, the Marines, and well..everywhere!
They had a beautiful ceremony at the church on the USD campus. Apparently it books out two years in advance, and justly so, it's breathtaking. There were tons of fun details at the wedding. Marcela is Mexican, and of course there were some killer Mexican cultural details. We even stopped at a sweet taco stand to get fueled up for our wedding party shots. From the mariachi, to the Mexican food to the beautiful wedding party, it was a great wedding.

Here are this wedding's nominations:
-most fun-loving couple
-most attractive couple
-most chill and breezy bride
-stunningly gorgeous bridal party
-funnest and wildest guests at a reception

It also helps that the weather in the desert was perfect. The last time I shot in this location it was 117 degrees. Yup. Hottest I have ever been in the United States. Jennifer and Chris actually stumbled upon my work from a vendor list in Palm Desert which is rare since I book 95% of my weddings through client referrals. They are so fun. I looked forward to this wedding for months based on how much fun we had at the engagement sesh. They live out in Arizona, so I am anticipating flying out there several times next year for more shoots! Congrats you two!

Needless to say, I loved shooting this weeding. Gorgeous Polynesian-princess bride, stunning views at the ceremony, photos, etc., and did I mention it was in Hawaii? I also had to privilege of working with Jessica Jacobus again, a coordinator for a wedding I shot last August in Oahu. As beautiful and put together as Robyn looked, she was one of the most chill bridesI have ever worked with. I guess it's that island lifestyle they talk about! The ceremony was on the beach, of course, and we ended up at the country club for the reception. The weather held out, and we had deep blue skies with crystal clear water on the beach. Next Hawaii wedding, please!
