I know what you're thinking Twain What? It's an amazing little mountain community about an hour out of Yosemite. Its GORGEOUS! The trees, the lakes, the mountain air. Believe it or not, this is actually my second wedding I've photographed in this town. Karinne and Joseph had their wedding at the Lazy Z Resort nestled about 15 minutes off the highway tucked away in the mountains. It was amazing. The shade and all the trees and old rustic buildings made a perfect back drop for some great photos. And Karinne can work it...as you can see here, with her beautiful eyes and perfectly fitting dress that seemed like it was painted on. She was stunning. It was an amazing wedding with great people, serene settings and yes, It's-It ice cream sandwiches for dessert. If you don't know what those are...you are missing out! Oh, and I happened to shoot this dragon fly with a first row seat during photos at the old barn.

Well, technically the wedding was in Kilauea. But we met up at the Princeville St. Regis to start photos. If you've ever been to Kauai, specifically the North shore, you know that it's paradise. It was a beautiful day. We got about 5 minutes of rain all day and night. Rebecca and Jordan first had a very intimate ceremony with family only in the forest at the Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens. It was a breathtaking backdrop with seemingly endless rows of teak trees. Afterwards, we retreated to a private beach for the larger ceremony. We were graced by a Monk Seal that swam up shore for a nap literally just feet from the alter. The Hawaiians believe it to be a blessing. Needless to say, it was quite a topic of converstation, (and photos) The sun set beautifully for more pics, and then we moved into the tent for an epic reception. It was quite easily the most elaborate and gorgeous tent I have ever seen.
We ended the night with a bonfire on the beach. Thanks for the trip to Hawaii, and letting me capture your amazing wedding! A Hui Ho!

I love how you venture out with your clients. Even though you were on a gorgeous beach, you didn't stick to just ocean shots. I think the photos in the gardens are the most eye catching. Lovely work!
