I have shot at a wide variety of desirable locations, but I have never, and ALWAYS wanted to shoot in a junk yard. This could be one of my favorite sessions. Yes Mandee is gorgeous, and Mike is a stud, but obviously something about the contrast with the wreckage is what really makes this shoot interesting. The yard was pretty small, so we stuck to about three cars that really caught my eye, the El Camino, I think a Coupe De Ville, and an upside down truck. The setting sun was perfect, and it was just the right amount of grunge and danger. Enjoy.

I fly a lot of places for weddings, but don't get to travel much for engagement sessions. I had the privilege of shooting Rebecca and Nathan's eng sesh in Arizona, which turned into a two day vacation! We had a great time, starting out with drinks at the Biltmore. We moved on too the Botanical Gardens, where we naturally got in trouble for being where we are not supposed to be...I do whatever it takes to get my shot! Of course we had causalities. Nate and I both got pricked with cacti needles while trespassing, and Rebecca actually scratched her chin (nothing photoshop couldn't take care of.) We finished up in the Northern part of Scottsdale in the beautiful mountains with the sunset in the backround. Afterwords, we went to grab drinks and then dinner at some super cool restaurants. I'll tell ya, Phoenix and Scottsdale have some GREAT places to eat and drink. Check it out, just not in the summer.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one getting in trouble for being where I'm not supposed to be. I was starting to think I should straighten up! Great shots! Such an interesting location!

Any shoot that starts out with cocktails at the Montage is gonna be a good one! I met Adrienne and Garrett through Garrett's Brother Sean, whose wedding I am shooting next September as well. Sean's fiance, Sara, is a childhood friend of my wife...did you follow that? Either way, I am thankful for this string of friendships that has brought these great people into my life. Adrienne and Garrett have their wedding next month at Big Canyon Country Club, and wanted to shoot the eng. pics at Montage where Garrett proposed. They actually wore they same outfits they did for the shoot as when they got engaged! We had a fun time chillin' in the lounge talking about mutual friends, golf, life, etc. We walked down to the beach and snapped some killer shots around the Laguna Cliffs. Afterwards we moved to downtown Laguna for more of a town/city feel. It was a great shoot, and I look forward to the amazing wedding...and hopefully a round or two of golf soon!
