This wedding was one of the most important weddings I have ever shot. Kristin, and her sister Laura are two of my closest friends. Travis, the groom was also a close buddy and neighbor back in college. It was extremely touching and emotional to see them pledge their vows. The venue, Holland Ranch is a  hidden gem in Edna Valley. There was this awesome barn with a cornucopia of vintage neon signs and knick knacks. It had this neo-fifties, rural farm vibe. Not to mention some random farm animals running around. This shot below with the groomsmen has a horse that just wandered into the photo. I couldn't have planned it more perfectly. Also, the first thing they did as man and wife was take a self portrait with the crowd in the back. AWESOME!
Congrats you two, i LOVE you guys!

I am not a surf photographer, but these shots are killer! My buddy Craig Motichko gave me a tip this morning to check out the Wedge in Newport Beach. 22ft. waves. Yes folks, this is in Newport Beach. It was going off. There were over 500 people on the shore watching.

I met Adam and Bryn through Laurie O'Connor, a stylist and friend at the salon I have been going to for the last 6 years. I was thrilled when she asked me to shoot her son's wedding! It was such a beautiful wedding, and the weather was perfect. Bryn and Adam actually live in San Francisco. Bryn and Adam actually were already married! HA! Their love was too hard to contain so they married a few months back after a long history. Seriously, their fairy-tale story should be sold to the writers of the next great romantic comedy. Just her wedding ring alone brags of a sentimental memory they shared when they were friends back in  high school. The blue sky, red barn and many many emotions that ran through them and their families made for amazing photos. I am glad to know you both. Thanks for a fun wedding! Oh and Adam...there's NO way thats your dad. I need to see some proof.

day...Adam and Bryn, her warm and welcoming family, the gathering of our family in California

Laurie, Atticus and I had such a fun time photographing their engagement pics in Santa Barbara, I knew the wedding would be a blast! We first started shooting in Solvang, where it was a blazing 94 degrees that day! I was surprised, and stoked, to see the groomsmen gifts: 8-in. survival knives, like Rambo uses. I didn't post any pics to not give the idea that the boys were knife wielding maniacs.
I shot at Firestone WInery in the at the separate barn location, but never at the main winery. There were SO many great things to shoot. This random door near the entry of the barrel room was SPECTACULAR! Laurie looks gorgeous in front of it! The vineyard during sunset was of course a beautiful site to shoot the wedding party. It was a killer wedding! Thanks you two!
