This was an UNBELIEVABLE experience. Chad and Kelli Coltman had their baby Monday night at Hoag Hospital and i had the opportunity and priveldge to photograph the delivery. I was pretty nervous. I would say unless you have a child, you have never witnessed a live birth, and TV and movies don't do it any justice other than frighten you or distort the drama of a birth. Life truly is a miracle. Kelli and Chad were so calm and collected during the delivery and Lainey came out glowing and beautiful. Thank you two so much for giving me a chance to do this. I can't wait to do it again.

If you haven't bought or even heard some of the tunes from Until June, check them out. We shot photos near downtown LA for their new album coming out shortly. We waited all afternoon for the perfect light and took quite a while setting up their instruments for this shoot. I shot these guys before about 3 years ago, and now, with their new hair and new sound, these new pics show off their new look. 

Every year there is a sweet concert, festival rather, in Monterey, CA. It is a six day deal where the leaders in Christian music come together with amazing speakers to a combined audience of about 80,000! It's called Spirit West Coast. I had the privilege of chillin' with some of the bands during Q&A sessions and sitting VIP. Jars of Clay, one of most prominent Christian Bands led off one day, and grabbed some killer shots.  

Rebecca is my wife's best friend and her husband Charlie was my roommate in college and one my closest friends. We were super excited for their new baby, Leah. We shot these during blossom season in Modesto, the one week out of the year when all the almond trees are beautifully full of these pink and white flowers. 

I shot these twins almost a year ago, but thought I'd repost it on my new blog. Courtney Ammons is the sister of Stacey, whose wedding i shot a few years back. I have shot many babies, but when i got a call for twins, i was stoked. Double the fun, and double the killer photos.
